Executive Director

Position
The Executive Director will lead INTech to continue to develop and grow as an organization to serve and inspire more girls to become innovative in the technology field. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of INTech. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors. The ideal start date for this position is by the end of October 2021.

Responsibilities
Practice effective leadership to ensure the advancement of INTech’s brand identity, broaden awareness of its programs and priorities, and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences

Provide leadership in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies authorized by the board

Oversee grant-writing and fundraising efforts to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization

Work with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them

Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the fields of education and technology

Qualifications
Have 3 or more years of management experience leading nonprofits

Have an entrepreneurial, start-up mindset

Have 1-3 years experience in revenue generation and/or fundraising

Have 1-3 years experience in board management, recruitment, and governance

Must be proficient in project management

Must be proficient in developing and implementing an organizational budget

Be an innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output 

Support, advocate, develop framework for diversity, equity, and inclusion for women and girls 

Excellent and persuasive communicator

Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with INTech's Board of Directors and staff

Creative and thoughtful on how new media technologies can be utilized

Passion for INTech's mission

Compensation and Benefits
Up to $75,000- $95,000 annual salary
Full Health, Dental, and Retirement

Location
This is a remote position within the United States. Candidates within North Carolina are preferred.
